Mediterranean Modernism

Spain

Mallorca

The brief for this project was to complement the architectural intent and interior design of this newly built luxury villa in Mallorca through considered styling, artwork selection, and placement.

The architecture of the home is defined by clean lines, generous openings, and a strong emphasis on natural light and sea views. The styling approach focused on preserving this architectural clarity, ensuring the views and sense of openness remained central to the experience.

A restrained base palette of soft, muted neutrals runs throughout the home, creating continuity and calm across all spaces. The result is an elegant, inviting interior, where restraint is balanced with warmth and livability. Natural stone, timber detailing, and tactile finishes introduce depth and texture, softening the architectural minimalism without disrupting its clarity.

Original artwork and carefully selected decorative objects introduce subtle variation and personality throughout the scheme. Earthy tones and muted accents are used consistently, with occasional more expressive pieces introducing contrast and focal points while maintaining an overall sense of refined restraint.

Across the open-plan living areas, the placement of artwork and styling pieces has been carefully considered to support flow and atmosphere, allowing each space to feel connected while still clearly defined. The result is a home that feels intentional yet effortless, defined by quiet, considered luxury, where architecture and styling come together in a cohesive and understated whole.
